Children's Ministries
At First Baptist Church, we seek the safety and welfare of your children. This means biblical training from qualified members who are able to pass a background check, and well equipped, safe facilities.
Kids Club
Wed. 6:55-8:30
This year we are excited to announce a brand-new program for kids! Just like Awana has done in the past, Kids Club unites our young people around the truths of God's word and encourages mental, physical and spiritual growth through exciting games, memorization and Bible lessons.
The Kids Club calendar follows the local school calendar - there is no club during the summer, Christmas break, or when the Cape Henlopen school district is cancelled or dismissed early due to weather conditions. See the "Calendar" for more information on specific dates and events.
Children's Church
Our goals in children's church are to provide an atmosphere for age-appropriate worship, to teach biblical principles in order to bring about submission to the will of God, and Scripture memorizaton so that the Spirit can use the Word to change the heart. Children's church is held every Sunday morning during the normal adult worship service.
Special Events
Frequently, we have special events, like our annual "Trunk-or-treat" and Vacation Bible School for local children. All are invited, and we appreciate all of the parents who allow their children to participate.
